About the Owners

SLR Partners, Mike Dugas and Adam Wells, met ten years ago at Phil Anschutz' Eagles Nest Ranch, located on the South Platte in Weld County, Colorado.  There they forged a friendship based upon a mutual love of hunting - and an idea was born to one day attempt to recreate a bit of the magic of Eagles Nest.

Age 41                                Retired from a career in the Investments business with Denver-based, Janus Funds in 2006.  Runs Finance, Accounting and Business Development for SLR.

Adam B. Wells

Age 35

Ranch Manager, Big Mountain Ranch, and former wildlife manager at Eagles Nest.  Runs Habitat and Land Management and Business Development for SLR.
